This is about capturing the woman behind the ink.
A FULLY GUIDED TATTOO BOUDOIR EXPERIENCE
You Bring The Ink, And We’ll Handle The Rest
“What should I wear for a tattoo boudoir session?”
The best outfit for a tattoo boudoir session depends on where your tattoos are located, which pieces you want to highlight, and the overall look you want to create.
If you want your tattoos to take center stage, choose wardrobe that leaves those areas visible rather than competing with or covering the artwork. A bodysuit can beautifully frame a thigh, hip, or chest piece, while lingerie separates can showcase tattoos across your stomach, ribs, or torso. Off-the-shoulder pieces are great for highlighting sleeves, shoulders, and collarbone tattoos, while implied or partially covered looks can put even more focus on your skin and ink.
You can also bring different options if you want some images that prominently feature your tattoos and others where they simply become a natural part of the photograph.
And you don’t have to know what will photograph best before you arrive. We’ll help you choose pieces that complement your tattoo placement, body, and personal style so your ink gets the attention you want without the photographs feeling like they’re only about your tattoos.
CELEBRATE THE ART THAT’S PART OF YOU
Boudoir Photography for Tattooed Women
Tattoo boudoir isn’t about turning your session into a photoshoot for your tattoos.
It’s about photographing all of you.
The ink. The curves. The expressions. The little details. The confidence that starts showing up once you realize you don’t have to perform or know what you’re doing in front of the camera.
Whether your tattoos represent decades of stories, meaningful moments, or you simply love how they look on your body, they deserve to be photographed as naturally as every other part of you. Your session gives you the space to celebrate your ink without letting it become the only thing the camera sees.
You don’t need to cover them.
You don’t need to tone them down.
And you definitely don’t need to fit someone else’s idea of what boudoir is supposed to look like.
Your tattoos are part of what makes you unique, and your boudoir session should celebrate every part of that.

Boudoir Transformations
These are real clients, photographed in my studio, with professional hair and makeup and posing guided from start to finish.
When most women see my Instagram or portfolio they assume all of the women are models. This is 100% incorrect. All of the women I photograph are real women with real lives, real jobs and real bodies.
I have a select team of makeup artists and hair stylists I consistently work with. Our goal is not to create Barbie dolls but to bring out the best in each of our clients. Natural, beautiful women.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Tattoo boudoir photography is a boudoir experience that intentionally incorporates and celebrates your tattoos. Posing, lighting, wardrobe, and camera angles can be used to highlight your body art while still keeping you at the center of the photographs.
-
Posing depends on where your tattoos are located and which pieces you’d like to feature. We can adjust the position of your arms, legs, torso, shoulders, and body to showcase specific tattoos while still creating flattering, natural-looking boudoir poses.
-
Choose pieces that make you feel incredible and allow the tattoos you want to feature to remain visible. Lingerie sets, bodysuits, stockings, oversized shirts, and implied looks can all work beautifully. We’ll help you choose wardrobe based on your tattoos, body, and personal style.
For more on fabrics, fit, and what to skip, see our what to wear guide. -
No. Retouching is for skin and blemishes, not your ink. Your tattoos stay in the finished photographs exactly as they are, with the lines and color kept true. If there's a piece you'd rather keep private or plan to cover, tell us during your consultation and we'll plan poses and wardrobe around it.
-
Absolutely. If your sleeve is something you want to feature, we can incorporate poses and angles that keep the artwork visible while complementing the rest of your body.
-
Yes. Your session can include poses specifically designed to showcase tattoos on your back, thighs, ribs, chest, hips, or other areas of your body. Let us know which pieces you especially want photographed so we can incorporate them intentionally.
-
Not at all. You don’t need sleeves or extensive body art. Whether you have one meaningful tattoo or artwork covering much of your body, your session can be customized around what you want to celebrate.
-
Fully healed photographs best, with no peeling, scabbing, or shine from aftercare ointment. If you're finishing a large piece, tell us your artist's timeline and we'll pick a date that shows the work at its best.
-
Absolutely. You don’t need any modeling or boudoir experience. We’ll guide your poses and expressions throughout the entire session, including helping position your body to showcase the tattoos you want to feature.
